Part-Time Abuser Intervention Program Assistant Manager
Social service agency located in far south suburbs (Homewood, IL) seeks a part time (15 hours/week) assistant manager for Abuser Intervention program.
BILINGUAL IN ENGLISH/SPANISH IS PREFERRED. FEMALES ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, knowledge of domestic violence issues, and work experience in the field of domestic violence. Applicants must be willing and able to work flexible hours, including weekday evenings as well as daytime hours on Wednesday and Saturday.
Duties include:
Insuring abuser intervention program adherence to DHS Abuser Intervention Protocol; conducting interviews and assessments of prospective participants; providing supervision of Abuser Intervention Program staff and interns; co-facilitating weekly Abuser Intervention education classes on Wednesday afternoons; co-facilitating group sessions evenings and Saturdays as needed; insuring submission and completeness of various paperwork and reports; complying with program related subpoenas as needed; completing and/or submitting required funding paperwork as needed; and providing outreach to related agencies to coordinate services.
